Hi Gayl,
I am writing to tell you how much I am enjoying my new Huss and Dalton D-RH. As
I mentioned before, I sold a Martin D-41 that I had for 6 years that I certainly
loved. I always loved the sound and tone, but once I bought that TOM-R Adirondack
from you, I just didn't play it much anymore because the H&D TOM-R was just
a better playing guitar. The neck has a better fit for me and that was the primary
reason along with the fact that my D-41 was sitting around not getting any play
time. I wanted the same feel as the TOM-R but missed that Dreadnaught sound. But
now that I have had the D-RH for a few weeks I can tell you that this is a feakin
BOOMER. As good as my D-41 sounded this thing simply sounds better. I can hear it
and feel it when I play. Also I want to mention how playable these guitars are.
Once I got my setup just right it seems to fit better than any acoustic I've
played before.
I don't know about these Huss and Dalton characters. They've got something
good going on. They really have a great recipe for craftsmanship, playability and
unbelievable tone. I don't know if you can find all the things you get in these
guitars in the $3000 range or beyond anywhere else. I feel lucky to have found out
about these guitars.
I'll tell you that if I know a friend looking for a mid to high end acoustic
guitar, I will make sure they consider a Huss and Dalton from you. Which gets me
to the fact that although I like the H&D guitars, I have really enjoyed your
help with both purchases I've made from you. I'll see you when I am ready
for my CM cutaway.
Thanks for all your help,
Alan Briggs
